SAINT MARY'S POST DRIVE

#1 dribbles left as #5 sets cross-screen for #4 who takes pass from #1. #4 can take shot or drive for the basket. Two things are very important on this play: (1) #4s footwork; and (2) offensive spacing to keep other defenders from helping. Play can be run for either #4 or #5 and can be run going to either side. Considerable daily pre-practice should be devoted to the proper footwork for this drive.

#3 dribbles and passes to #2 on the backdoor.
