Aussie Basketball Travellers are proud to announce legendary Davidson College Coach Bob McKillop will visit Australia in a twelve-day tour this September-October offering a rare opportunity for the local basketball community to engage with one of the game’s most respected minds.

With a coaching career spanning more than 30 years, McKillop is widely regarded for building a culture of excellence and developing world-class talent.

During his tenure at Davidson College, McKillop recorded over 600 career victories, led Davidson to multiple Southern Conference championships and guided the Wildcats to several NCAA Tournament appearances, including a remarkable Elite Eight run in 2008.

He has also been inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, recognising his lasting contribution to the sport.

A defining element of McKillop’s legacy is his role in mentoring NBA superstar Stephen Curry. Under his guidance, Curry developed from a college player with no other scholarship offers into a global icon, captivating audiences during Davidson’s historic tournament run in 2008 and going on to transform the modern game.
